OAU Sets for 47th Convocation Ceremony, to Restrict Vehicular Movement

The management of Obafemi Awolowo University has disclosed the plan for the 47th Convocation Ceremony, which is set to be held from Wednesday, December 6th to Saturday, December 9th, 2023. 

The University management, in a statement released on the school website, has outlined the temporary traffic restrictions and the measures to be followed by the staff members of the university to allow them to enter the campus during the convocation period.

The statement noted that movement of Vehicles in and out of the campus will be prohibited. Furthermore, only Staff Members of the University possessing the University's Car Stickers were said to be allowed into the campus. 

The University Management therefore advises individuals who have no University car Stickers to process the necessary documentation before the commencement of the convocation ceremony. The statement also noted that the University car stickers are processed at a sum of #500 for staff in need of it.

While speaking with OAU KILONSHELE, the P.R.O of the University, Mr Olanrewaju Abiodun confirmed the information to be true and noted that students will be allowed to enter into campus through commercial buses.
