OAU Management Reacts To SU Social Director's Detention

SU Social Director Omo Alhaji Arrested, In DSS Custody

Olabode Oluwafemi   The Great Ife Students' Union Director of Socials, Adeboye Olamilekan famously identified as "Omo Alhaji" has been arrested and detained in the Department of State Services custody as disclosed to OAU KILONSHELE by a confidential source. The source further revealed he was stated to be a suspected member of a violent group which led to his arrest by the OAU security department and subsequently handed over to the DSS for further probe and investigation. NUGA 2022: OAU Athletes Decry Non-payment Of Allowances By University Management

They borrowed us their kit bag. The school did not provide us with anything at all"   T en months after the 26th Nigerian University Games [NUGA] sporting competition held at the University Of Lagos, OAU athletes are yet to receive their allowances as revealed to OAU KILONSHELE . As at the early hours of Monday morning, the vehicle conveying the borehole drilling machine arrived at Mozambique Hall and started work almost immediately. It is no news how bad the unavailability of water in the different hall of residents have been, the drilling of a new borehole will be a great relief to the university community and its residents. Mozambique Queen Attacked, Got Robbed On Campus

Olabode Oluwafemi A part one Law student identified as Gloria Omoniyi, a resident of Mozambique hall got attacked along the bushy path located between Akintola and Fajuyi hall of residence towards the hours of Wednesday midnight. According to close friends of the victim, as confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE , she was on her way to the sports complex when the physical attack and theft were launched as she was equally injured while the perpetrator escaped through the bush with her mobile phone. As gathered by our correspondent who immediately reached out to the scene, the shout of the victim for help triggered Fajuyians and passers-by to pursue to capture the attacker as he made his escape through the bush which later proved abortive. The victim was immediately rushed to OAU health centre.
