Okunowo Similoluwa Emerges 2023 OAU Best Graduating Student

In a triumph of academic excellence, a student from the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering in the Faculty of Technology, Okunowo Similoluwa has emerged as the 2021/2022 academic session overall Best Graduating Student (BGS) of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, securing this prestigious title with an impressive Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.93.

This revelation came into existence via the university's brochure released for the 47th Convocation, where Similoluwa is set to be honored and awarded for his outstanding achievements.

The 47th Convocation brochure, a precursor to the upcoming celebratory event from Wednesday, 6th December to Saturday, 9th December, hinted at Similoluwa's academic prowess without disclosing the exact CGPA. This sparked curiosity and led to an investigation by OAU Kilonshele, uncovering the remarkable CGPA that propelled Similoluwa to clinch the overall Best Graduating Student status.

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
