By Oluwasegun Akintunde
The National Association of Public Administration Students organized a mountaineering event for freshers to mark the fourth day of their Fresher's week, this event aimed to foster unity and togetherness amongst the incoming freshers while they climb the mountain.

While on the mountain, the event, which was held on Saturday,  kicked off in full spin with prayer said, and the school anthem sung with excitement and high spirits. Mc Dammycares was in attendance as the event's Master of Ceremony.

The Editor-in-Chief of Public Voice in person of Emmanuel Aluko, who spoke on behalf of the president, stated how the essence of mountaineering is to foster togetherness and unity amongst all classes of the department. Present at the mountaintop are members of The class of Convalis (Part 4), Polyhistor(Part 3), Hypatios(Part 2), and lastly, Gladiators (Part 1).

According to one of the freshers, who was interviewed, She said even though the climb to the top of the mountain was tough, the Games, Music, and Dancing completion which was won by one of the freshers named Ifeoluwa, proved to make her experience worthwhile as she enjoyed herself and met some new faces she didn't know from her class initially.

Toward the end of the event, There was a special Performance by O.P.Y. (a musician) who is a student of the department and a member of the Class of Hypatios (Part 2).

The event came to a blissful end with the Vote of Thanks given by the NAPAS President, Odejide Anuoluwapo Janet, who appreciated everyone present at the event both freshers and states, amid Laughter, Newly-found friendships, Beautiful memories, and Strong bonds.
