The Speaker of the Law Students' Representative Council, Olawuni Tobi, has kicked against the resolutions reached in the congress that held on Thursday.

At the congress, the impeached and suspended executives were reinstated unconditionally and also ordered the SRC to write an apology letter that will be published on a national newspaper and on all agencies on campus.

It should be recalled that OAU Kilonshele reported how the General Secretary was impeached and how the Treasurer and Assistant General Secretary were suspended for one and three weeks respectively by the SRC. Their reinstatement by congressmen was also reported.

However, in a conversation with our correspondent, Mr. Tobi revealed  that the resolution is against the LSS' constitution, rule of law and it's also undemocratic.

"Have you heard it anywhere in the world that the parliament issued an apology letter for its resolution? No, it not done anywhere. It's as if you are telling the court of law to issue an apology letter for its judgement, It's against the rule of law."

"It's against our LSS constitution as well and the president was corrected and guided several times at the Congress but because he mobilised to the Congress and has fed them all with malice and lies, he had his way. If this is the set of leaders we shall have tomorrow i fear for the future," Mr. Tobi said.

He also accused the president of the LSS of being tyrannical and attacking democracy.

"Democracy is under attack in LSS and the whole world must be aware of the tyranical ruling of the Adedigba Daniel led administration in LSS," he said.

Meanwhile, Saturday, 8th of December was the deadline for publishing the apology letter that the representative council was told to publish at the congress.
