Breaking: Electoral Commission declares Ojo Abbas, Lordfem OAU SU President-elect

The Great Ife Electoral Commission has declared Ojo Abbas Akinremi- Lordfem as the President-elect of the OAU Great Ife Students' Union.


Lordfem who polled a total votes of 2,796 dominated polls of 4 faculties out of 13, Agriculture, EDM, Sciences and Basic Medical Science with his closest rival Abiola Oluwasegun- Legbeti, who polled 1,121 votes.


The official declaration by the Great Ife Students' Union Electoral Commission Chairman, Ayebiele Oluwajuedalo came series of hours after the conclusion of the electioneering process which kickstarted on Thursday till Friday's early hours.


Lordfem got admitted into the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2018, currently a part 4 Student of the Department of Animal Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture.


Ojo Abbas Akinremi is the current President, Nigerian Association of Agricultural Students, Faculty of Agriculture, Obafemi Awolowo University. 

He is a native of Gbongan, Osun state.

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
