LSS OAU Clears Erstwhile President Off Financial Misdeal Allegation

The Law Students' Society, Obafemi Awolowo University has cleared its immediate past and impeached Executive President, Adedokun Samuel off financial misdeal.
In a document obtained by OAU KILONSHELE, filed in it a resolution of the congress held on 22nd May, had Adedokun Samuel cleared off the financial misappropriation allegation.
It partly reads;
"The (LSRC) Speaker reiterated the grounds of the President's impeachment which includes financial misappropriation, constitutional aberration and much more. He emphasised that the weeks following the impeachment at LSRC sitting saw series of meetings with alumni body, the Dean of Faculty of Law and the 3 arms of government which Congressman Adedokun Samuel has been cleared of financial misappropriation for ICOLE."
The congress further authenticates Adedokun Samuel's impeachment as LSS OAU President in a voting exercise with 109 votes for the ratification of his impeachment, 48 votes opposing the ratification, 20 abstained and 1 void.
In further pursuance, an audit committee set up by the Students' Society to launch an investigation into the allegation, spearheaded by Ogunleye Oluwatobi Olufemi claimed in its report made available to OAU KILONSHELE that Adedokun Samuel did not misappropriate any of the society's fund.
It partly reads;
"It was found that Samuel Adedokun paid and spent the N2 million disbursed to his account, for the purpose it was meant for. He paid all those whose names reflected in his statement of account and expenditure account in full. He did not misappropriate or use LSS funds for purposes it was not meant for."
Recall OAU KILONSHELE earlier reported the impeachment of the immediate past President at the Law Students' Representative Council sitting following a financial misappropriation allegation levelled against him by the Law Students' Society, Obafemi Awolowo University.
