Sport- UI Amazons frizzle OAU Giantess in abode, FOSSSA retorts


In the slightly sunny mid-hours of Friday, OAU treated female athletes from UI varsity- UI Amazons to a football dine at the University's Sport complex- Main bowl.


Amidst all that raced through OAU Giantess' minds, being defeated by UI Amazons was surely not one of them. Although there are margins for doubt in football, in this case, it was negligibly minimal that the thought of it would have made a mockery.

 

On the flip side, it occurred that UI Amazons had other plans, as the relentlessly defiant side unsettled the OAU Giantess in a match characterized by poise and a mesh of frustration and tenacity.


Halftime had both team struggle for the lead but luck was against the duo despite several attempts. UI Amazons came loaded in the second round, kicking OAU Giantess' butt with 2 goals in 54 and 61 minutes respectively.


Of course, mockery chants can be heard pervading the air as spectators chorus in appraisal of their team and school. 


THE COMEBACK 


After the first match defeating the OAU Giantess. It blatantly appears OAU FOSSSA - Faculty of Social Sciences football team is extremely ready to go for the kill against UI FATSSSA flexing their Great Ife muscle and masculinity.


The first leg was highly possessed by FOSSSA as they subject their opponent to pressure with two goals finding their way slipped to UI FATSSSA's net.


Striving rigorously in second leg characterized by UI FATSSSA mounting pressure in hunt for goals but effort went futile.

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
