OAU Announces New Date for Matriculation of Freshmen and Mid-Semester Test

In a recent development, the matriculation date for fresh students at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has been officially rescheduled. The information was confirmed by the Students' Union Public Relations Officer (PRO), Omisore Elijah, who stated, "At the instance of the Committee of Deans (COD), the Vice-Chancellor has consented that the freshers' matriculation be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024."

To accommodate students who joined the university later than the regular start date, the Mid-Semester Tests have been shifted to January 3 - 6, 2024. This decision follows the upcoming holiday break scheduled from December 23, 2023, to January 2, 2024.

The adjustment in both the matriculation date and Mid-Semester Tests to provide a fair and supportive academic environment for all students, considering various enrollment circumstances. 

The university administration, in collaboration with the Committee of Deans, is said to remain committed to ensuring a smooth transition into the academic year for the entire OAU community.

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
