Electronic And Electrical Engineering Students' Society Elects New President, Other Executives
Abdulbasit Abdulkareem In an election held on Thursday, November 30, by the Electoral Committee of the Electronic and Electrical Engineering Students' Society at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, students exercised their democratic right, where there was a total of 366 out of 543 eligible voters, marking a turnout of 67.40%. While announcing the winner, the Electoral committee, through the Public Relations Officer of the committee, Odumakinde Ayomikun stated the distribution of votes across academic levels which showcased the engagement of students from various parts of their academic journey, with Part 5 recording the highest participation of 84.96 %, 37.73% in Part 1, 72.17% in Part 2, 84.47% in Part 3, 56.07% in Part 4.
