OAU KILONSHELE Closing the Final stage of the Great Ife Football League, as stated by the organizer of the League, there will be a medal presented to the winning team of the League. This medal was named 'The Supreme Medal'.  The Supreme Medal, which will be owned by the winning team of the Great IFE Football League Final stage, came as a result of the performance of the two finalists of the league, KHR and AGE. The final match between AGE and PHE is scheduled to be held by 3:30 pm on Thursday, January 18th, at the Mainbowl of the University Sports' Complex  These two departments were in the same group during the group stage and shared the same point in a 1-1 draw in the last game. However, AGE secured the first spot on the table as a result of a higher goal difference. The two teams, during the competition, didn't lose any of the games played. OAU KILONSHELE At the end of Match Day 3, which marked the end of the group stage of the Great Ife Football League, each of the departments played with another in each group. Their performance was amazing in the Matchday 3 of the League. While some teams won, others were beaten. Let's take a look at a few of them. The Department of Food Science and Technology won their match against the Department of Quantity Survey, where they secured 3 points. Agric Engineering went head to head with Kinesiology and Health Recreation but ended the game at a draw of 1:1.  Economics won against Biochemistry with a score of 1 to 0, while Electronics And Electrical Engineering won against Public Administration. Mathematics maintains group stage topper after the drawn clash against Zoology. History beat the Building department 3 to 2 in the last clash. Meanwhile, on December 18th, the departments that qualified for the Round of 16 of the league were decided after Match Day 3....

OAU KILONSHELE   The committee of the Great Ife Football League has, on Monday, revealed the commencement date of the league. In an earlier report, the League was hoped to start by 7th or 8th December.  Meanwhile, in a briefing made by the organizer of the league, Isco Sports World, through its CEO, Adewumi Olalekan, it was learned by OAU KILONSHELE that the league has been fixed to begin on Thursday, December 7th. As seen in the League's sheet, the League's opening match will be between the Department of Demography and the Department of History, which has been fixed to be played at the Training Pitch 1.  The Great Ife Football League will be competed between 24 departments of the University. ADENIRAN TOLULOPE The Organizers of the Great Ife Sports League, ISCO Sport World has on Saturday, officially unveiled the League's Cup. The GIFL competition, as stated by the chairman of Isco Sports World is expected to start by December 7th or 8th. Present at the event are the chairman of the GIFL, Faleti Ayotunde, a technical team member, Adurosakin Oluwasegun, and Football players representing each department present in the Great Ife Football League While speaking, the chairman of the Great Ife Football League Committee, Faleti Ayotunde, encouraged the players to ensure their complaints are given to the organizers of the league when they're having issues with any of the officials. He therefore encourages the players to make sure they do nothing that tarnishes the image of the GIFL.
