OAU male students are noted for their efforts and intelligence. Obafemi Awolowo University is not merely named "Oba Awon University". We can say great men produced at Great Ife are partly responsible for upholding the name "Oba Àwọn University". They draw strength from adverse situations, which shapes them. We cannot dispute that, while great men are produced, their forms vary. Let's have a look at the various classes of boys at Obafemi Awolowo University.

1. The Leader: These guys are political idols from Departments and Faculties, who strive for loyalty, honor, and school pride. They are self-sufficient. They are forthright and accommodating. The continuous lookout to buy. their passion for societal improvement is never quenched. They are chosen as role models by many because nothing is hidden from them and knowledge flows from them.

2. The self-righteous: These people believe they are upright and flawless. They speak with less grace and never season their words. They look down on everyone and are filled with pride in their hearts. They are never satisfied and are always on the lookout for others. They can jump in on any topic and change the flow of the conversation since they are never calm enough to assess the situation before reacting. The color of their blood is poke-nosing consider themselves intelligent, yet they have no idea what the term "intelligence" means.

3. The Wanna-Be Bad Boy: These guys are the definition of the word confusion. They want to be assumed or painted as bad guys but dress like "Brethren".They want to be religious yet enjoy a social life. Their words are always exaggerated and they flirt. They are mostly single guys who still want to play relationship games with their female friends. They are friends with almost all "Solas" and "Daras". 

4. The Studious and Vibrant: These guys are informed and brilliant. They are involved in everything, including academics. They are gregarious and eager to learn new things. They're picky, gorgeous, and hyperactive with a balanced social life. They are fond of whining.

5. Tech Bro: This title refers to a group of guys who are hustlers. Fine young men with God and abilities. They are always cheerful and work around the clock. Finding it difficult to find a part-time job or learn a new skill? Simply message them. Looking for advice? Send a message to that tech guy. They are excellent advisors who are constantly pursuing their passions, dreams, and goals. They are dedicated and devoted to everything.

6. Dem Pablos: The set of guys in this category are cliques of guys who follow each other from one place to another. They are always on guard. They are competitive and most times at the edge. Some even stay at the same hostel to show their devotion to the clique. They are always together with their fashion sense. They always have something to borrow. They are mostly flirting. 

7. The weird guy: There's always that odd guy in every department at Obafemi Awolowo University. Full of amazing things and a constant desire to be alone. Mingling is considered a crime by them. Intelligent, but refuses to be acknowledged.

8. The Expensive Guy: Guys belonging to this category are rich with obsessive female besties. They are friendly to only a set of people. 80% of their friends are females. They don't belong to any circle but rather move with their high standards alone.

9.  The Sportsmen: Guys in this category are physically fit and sports lover. Their unfiltered love for sports makes them exceptional and unique everywhere. They're mostly found in the sports complex of the University, perhaps in every open spaces meant for playing soccer and other games.
