The fun-filled game held by the National Association of Public Administration Students during Freshers Week took place in the open space of the Faculty of Administration's basement. The event which was initially meant for department freshmen, attracted students from other departments within the Faculty.
The basement became an exciting hub for a FIFA tournament, where students, armed with PlayStation 4 and 5 controllers, engaged in spirited matches. What started as a friendly competition within the Public Administration department soon expanded, drawing in more players from different parts of the Faculty.
Alongside the digital gaming buzz, there were classic games like Ayo Olopon, Ludo, Whot cards, Table Tennis, and Jenga bricks. The room echoed with laughter and friendly competition, making it easy for students to connect, no matter which department they were from.
The gathering in this unconventional spot showed how inclusive the event was, welcoming both new and experienced students. The gathering created an atmosphere where everyone came together and enjoyed each other's company, creating a sense of togetherness in the faculty basement.
