Great Ife SRC Constitutes Electoral Committee for Forthcoming Students' Union Election

The Great IFE Students' Representative Council led by Rt. Hon. Ganiyu Yusuf, on Thursday, in its Business Sitting nominated thirteen students, one from each Faculty, to constitute the Electoral Committee which will  oversee the forthcoming Students' Union Elections. 

The sitting took place at the Awo Cafe, Obafemi Awolowo Hall. Various students in groups and of different interests were presents to nominate candidates into the committee. 

Following keen nomination process for the committee, the Students below were nominated and each of them accept the nomination.

Hassanat Adebowale from Faculty of Law
Oni Mustapha Adeyemi from Faculty of Pharmacy 
Akinboade Niyi Joseph from Faculty of Science
Taofeek Ogunperi from Faculty of Art
Jimoh Sodiq from Faculty of Environment of Design and Management
Olayinka Damilare From Faculty of Education
Badejo Aduragbemi from Faculty of Administration 
Samuel Adeleke from Faculty of Agriculture 
Adebayo Ridwan from Faculty of Technology 
Hamzat Ahmed from Faculty of Social Sciences
Adebayo Idris from Faculty of Dentistry
Afolabi Adewale Victor from Basic Medical Sciences

After the nomination of the members of the Electoral Committee, the members went ahead to choose the leadership of the committee. These include;

Taofeek Ogunperi as the Chairman of Electoral Committee
Olayinka Damilare as Secretary 
Oni Mustapha Adeyemi as Financial Secretary 
Hassanat Adebowale as the Public Relations Officer

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
