 Peter Oyebanji

Babalola Temitope, an 100 level  student of the department of Literature, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, has debunked the announcement of his death posted by his friend, Opeolu Aramide, on Facebook. The post which was confirmed to be untrue and later debunked by Temitope was posted as a result of a disagreement.

OAU Kilonshele gathered that Opeolu Aramide and his friend, Babalola Temitope, who is also the representative of the class, clashed because of a disagreement caused by the way Temitope was handling an academical material. It was confirmed that Aramide was not quite okay with the manner in which Temitope, the class representative handled the released material.

In a conversation with Temitope, who didn't reveal much about the disagreement, he confirmed that it was as a result of the way he handled the material. Temitope, when trying to explain what really happened said "you can't please everyone. He was not okay with the way I handled the material and there is nothing I could do about that."

Temitope, however, didn't give details of the disagreement but we confirmed that Temitope and Aramide have a relationship that could be termed  "Close Friends."

Update affirming that Living Temitope Dead

Aramide, in the post that announced Temitope's fake death wrote that "RIP to this guy, an OAU student. He is in part 1, he was crushed to death yesterday. Love you bro. You're gonna remain in my heart forever. RIP," with pictures of Temitope.

Temitope clarifying that he is healthy

The post which was broadcasted on the OAU Great Ife Students and Aspirants Platform was later brought down by Aramide. Temitope also posted hours later clarifying that he was alive and agile as ever.

Meanwhile, we couldn't get through to Aramide to confirm the details of the disagreement and his reason for the post.
