OAU Journalists Win Big At The 2019 Nigerian Campus Journalists National Convention

The Association of Campus Journalists, OAU and a student journalist have won awards in different categories at the just concluded National Union of Campus Journalists National Convention which held at the NUJ secretariat, Abeokuta, Ogun state.

The Award which was organised by the National Union of Campus Journalists, Nigeria, is meant to identify, commend and encourage outstanding campus journalists and news agencies in the country

The Association of Campus Journalists, OAU was given an honorary award as the "Outstanding Press Outfit of of the Year 2019," while Mr. Uthman Samad of Oaupeeps news agency won in the "Best investigative report" category.

In a telephone conversation with the President, Association of Campus Journalists, OAU, Mr. Oludiran Olusola, he expressed happiness at the development. "It's a great honour. We are so happy and are encouraged to do more. Not just the association won, one of the members of the association also won the best investigative report," he said.

It should be recalled that OAU Kilonshele reported how OAU Journalists won big at the Youth Digest campus Journalists award earlier this year.

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
