Habeeb Waliyu

Language is a tool for an effective communication. Your language is your bargaining power. Some words are meant to be used differently in different contexts especially prepositions and articles.

It is wrong to say; we will be having the class  by 1 o'clock.

The correct is; We will be having the class at 1 o'clock.

Explanation: “At” is used in reference to specific times on the clock or points of time in the day. And “by” is used specifically with an end point of time and it means no later than.
