EPL: Man-U, Arsenal Crushed on Easter day.

While the Christians all over the world celebrated the resurrection of Christ and Celebrations filled the surface of the earth on Sunday, It became a day to forget for both Manchester United and Arsenal fans.

In a bid to rise from the 6th Position to the 4th position on the Premier League Table, Manchester United were given the task to beat Everton, a club that was beaten by 2 goals last week by Fulham (Fulham has been relegated back to the Championship).

Solksjaer, The Manchester United Manager announced his team for the match, and it was a hopeful team to make way to the 4th position but Everton had other Ideas.

The 13th minute of the game came, and Everton were already a goal up through their Brazillian Winger Richarlison.
"This match will be a comeback" said a United fan on Twitter…

Just Fifteen minutes later, the blue flag of Everton was being waved brightly under the sunshine and players of Everton clustered in one corner, alas Sigurdsson just put Everton ahead by 2goals from an assist by Gueye.

Half-time came and a comeback like Manchester United displayed against PSG was expected but by the 54th minute, Lucas Digne, a player on loan from Barcelona, put Everton up by 3 goals.

Everton decided the show was not over and Theo Walcott decided to give them the perfect Easter gift by putting the fourth one through the supposed best goalkeeper in the world to make it 4-0. Seven goals in five days is very disastrous.

Similar to Manchester United’s fate, Arsenal suffered a 2-3 defeat at home to Crystal Palace.

Goals from Benteke, Zaha and McArthur sealed the win for Palace while Mesut Ozil and Aubameyang avoided a United situation for Arsenal as the race for top four continues. Arsenal and United are rooted to their respective positions of 4th and 6th after they refused to rise due to the defeat.
Chelsea can add more points when they host a struggling Burnley at Stamford Bridge on Monday.

Liverpool moved top after a hard-fought win over relegation threatened Cardiff City. Wijnadum put Liverpool ahead in the 56th minute before Salah won a penalty and Milner converted smoothly. Two-nil is how it ended.

The focus moves to the Manchester derby between Manchester United and Manchester City on the 24th of April. Only a divine intervention can see United through.
