Breaking: Management to Meet With Students' Leaders as regards Anti-cultism March

OAU Kilonshele



Management of Obafemi Awolowo University has issued invitation letters to presidents of departments and faculties.

OAU Kilonshele gathered that the management passed the letters through the head of departments and faculties. The letter specified that the meeting is to take place tomorrow at Admin extension.

Recall that OAU Kilonshele reported how students' leaders formed a coalition aimed at addressing essential issues on campus. They also decided to march against cultism on 30th and 31st of May.

However, the management released a circular that kicked against the march and warned that any students caught participating will be punished. The management clarified that they are not against freedom of association but it is not tactical to organize a march against cultism at this present time.

Students' leaders, however, went on with the march as against the school's directive.

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
