Students of the National Association of Public Administration Students (NAPAS), Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife, Osun State, and the participants of the events organized by the students' association for her fresh students, expressed satisfaction with the event.

The students' association organised a beauty pageant for her new students to determine who will emerge as the New Mr. and Miss NAPAS of the association. The event is organized annually to determine who will be crowned the New queen and new king.

The contestants of the competition who emerged as the winner during the event spoked with our correspondence. Mr Adewale Adetomiwa, a part one students of the department of public administration, who emerged as the winner of the male category and was crowned as the New Mr NAPAS stated that he was inspired by no one but constantly by his inner being which prompted him to vie for the competition.

"'I'm inspired by my ownself, my inner being," he said. When questioned about the possibility of losing the beauty pageant contest and what will be his reaction if he had lost, he said he will feel relaxed and praise himself for giving the competition a try. He also stated that his emergence as the winner will encourage him to do more academically.

"I will feel great because I know I tried my best and that will even give me more zeal to do more. I promise to take Public Administration serious like medical student would take medicine," he said

The winner of the female category of the competition, Juliet Ibamode, a part one student of public administration, who was crowned Miss NAPAS also spoke with our correspondence.  She revealed that she was scared while on the podium during the competition but she gave all the Glory to God for ordering her steps to victory.

"I felt scared but like there is a God watching and ordering all my steps. Also, I am born a winner. We always struggle to the end until we win in my home. So, that gave me this victory," she said.

Further more, while addressing the question of what will be her reaction if she had not emerged as the winner of the competition, she recognized the opportunity and privilege of being a  participant of the competition.

"I will give glory to God.  At least, I was able to come out and participate." She also pledged to be a good ambassador of the department any where she found herself.

"I promise to represent Napasites well and be a good and proud officer within and outside the wall of Napas." she pledged.

In the same vein, some of the students who witnessed the event expressed their satisfactions with the organization of the event.

One of the students, Muniat, a part two student of public administration, who spoke with our correspondence expressed her pleasure in the manner the event was organized. She stated that she was satisfied with the organization and also praised the executives for a well-done job.

"It was nice. The administration has done well, everything was actually okay." she said.

However, a part two student of the department of Sociology, Miss Believe, also spoke with our correspondence expressing her dissatisfaction with the way in which the event was organized. She stated that there was no proper coordination during the event and no one was assigned to direct people to the right place they ought to sit.

" There was no coordination during the party (event) when people were coming in. They were not properly guided as regards where to sit and where not to sit. Everyone were just coming in hanging all over the corridors making everywhere so disorganized," she complained.

She equally advised the organisers. "My advice is that; there should be security to direct individuals coming in for the party to their various seats," she advised.
