The Supreme Medal: AGE, KHR to Battle for Supremacy in Final

Closing the Final stage of the Great Ife Football League, as stated by the organizer of the League, there will be a medal presented to the winning team of the League. This medal was named 'The Supreme Medal'. 

The Supreme Medal, which will be owned by the winning team of the Great IFE Football League Final stage, came as a result of the performance of the two finalists of the league, KHR and AGE. The final match between AGE and PHE is scheduled to be held by 3:30 pm on Thursday, January 18th, at the Mainbowl of the University Sports' Complex 


These two departments were in the same group during the group stage and shared the same point in a 1-1 draw in the last game. However, AGE secured the first spot on the table as a result of a higher goal difference. The two teams, during the competition, didn't lose any of the games played.

EEE will be playing against BCH, to secure the third place by 1:30 pm on Thursday, January 18th. The winner of the third place will be awarded the bronze medal.

Other awards to be presented are as follows:

1. The Golden Ball which will be presented to the most outstanding player in the competition.

2. The Golden Boot, will be awarded to the best scorer, and perhaps the highest scorer of the competition.

3. The Golden Glove will be awarded to the best goalkeeper, based on the contribution in the goal line as opposed to the clean sheet.

Best Coach, Best Youngest Player, and GIFL Best XI will be recognized in conjunction with the listed awards. The Awards are sponsored by a major Partner of the League, Dunamis Autos.

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
