A fun-filled Sunday had the big guns in action and as expected Liverpool had the big advantage of putting Fulham to the sword and took Mohammed Salah 41 minutes to break the deadlock after finding some space to put Liverpool ahead.

The match did not live up to the excitement surrounding the Liverpool's pacy front three but in the 53rd minute, Shaqiri put liverpool two goals ahead and it was the last major event in that game.

Elsewhere, Chelsea were held to a goaless draw against a much eager Everton side.

Manchester City is Blue

Step forward, the current champions,Manchester City. Manchester City are favourites to lift the premier league and Manchester United hoped to dent City's title hopes when they visited the Ethiad on Sunday evening.

Manchester City took down the defensive wall of United within twelve minutes through their captain, David Silva.

The half ended 1-0 with optimism surrounding the United players and fans since they made a miraculous comeback last season after going two goals down at half-time.

Sergio Aguero wasted no time to put City two goals ahead at the start of the second half after beating David De Gea at his near post. Martial won a penalty for United and scored but Gundogan had the final say of the Night when he made it three for City. 3-1 was how it ended in an exciting derby.

New boys, wolves would have been easy winners against Arsenal but a little bit of luck in the 87th minute made sure Arsenal  saved some pride to get a point as it ended 1-1.

Matchday 12 saw a total goals of 19 and all eyes will be on Manchester City to find out who will hand them their first defeat of the season as they run riot endlessly and maintain their grip at the top of the table.
