OAU yet to release admission list- Official

The Admission Office of Obafemi Awolowo University has made it clear that the 2018/2019 admission list is yet to  be released and can't give a specific date when it will be released.


Speaking with a correspondent of OAU Kilonshele, an officer in the admission office, on Monday, said;

"I'm not certain as to when the admission lists will be released, you know they are different lists and as at now we don't know when it will be released."

When asked if there was a specific time for the release so as to aid expectations, he said "I can give a specific date now, I don't know."

The officer also said a meeting with the Registrar might not guarantee a specific date as there is no information out now.

Even if you meet with the registrar, I can't guarantee a specific date now because there is no information out."

However, the semester ends February next year and it is only precedential that the list be out very soon so as to prepare students for admission processing.

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
