OAU Increases Amount Of School Fees For The 2022/2023 Academic Session

 Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife has released its school fees for the 2022/2023 academic session.

In a press release made available by the PRO of the University, Mr Abiodun Olanrewaju, it was seen that the school fees have been increased. The increase in school fees came after the Senate business Meeting that was held on Tuesday 12th September at Oduduwa Hall of the University. 


On the press release is the breakdown of the fees which are to be paid by returning and admitted fresh students of each faculty. 

The breakdown of the fees is as follows;
Faculty of Science/Technology - New Students: ₦163,200 
                                                     Returning Students: ₦101, 200
Faculty of Art/Law/Humanities - Fresh Students: ₦151,200 
                                                   Returning Students: ₦89, 200
College of Health Sciences/Pharmacy - Fresh Students: ₦192, 200
                                                             Returning Students: ₦ 128, 200

Some students lament the high amount of school fees, while others feel unaffected.
 
The Great IFE Students Union has called to meet with presidents of associations and unions to discuss the way forward on the increase of fees.
