ACJOAU Set to Host annual International Campus Journalism Conference.

The Association of Campus Journalists, Obafemi Awolowo University (ACJOAU) is set to continue with its outstanding development towards campus journalism with the objective of bringing all pen pushers across the world institutions together.

ACJOAU invites all campus journalists to International Campus Journalism Conference #ICJC2019 scheduled to hold in the Africa's most beautiful campus.

We aimed at bringing different higher institutions across the globe through physical and online presence.

Our speakers and panelists shall discuss on:  Journalism: Its Efficacies In the Nigerian Electoral System

The Director of International Press Center, Lanre Arogundade will be the keynote speaker of the day while The Director General of Nigerian Broadcasting Commission, Alh. Ishaq Kawu will be the Distinguished Guest of Honour for the day.

The conference is designed to discuss through its panel sessions the branches of journalism.

Gabriel Okeowo of BudgIT and Joshua Olufemi of Premium Times center for Investigative Journalism will facilitate Data journalism and data-related discussions.

Azeezat Adedigba Of Premium Times, Oluseyi Awojulugbe of TheCable and Wale Ajetunmobi of The Nation Newspaper will be dishing the professional contents of Journalism and what print media entails to students journalists.

In the Broadcast category, Seun Okinbaloye of Channels, Ibrahim Shitta of TVC news and Folashade Aduke of RayPower FM will be doing justice to the theme of discourse in relation to the broadcast medium.

Most importantly, the winners  of The Great M.A fatai essay contest will be unveiled on the same day.

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
