OAU realizes 56million naira monthly -NASU Chairman

Just few hours after noon today, the NASU Chairman, Comrade Wole Adewumi ascertained that OAU management makes roughly 56 million naira every month at AUD 2 while he was answering a question directed to him by a student.

The event graced by a representative from the Presidency, a representative from UniOsun, SSANU executive, Intellectual Panelists, Editor in Chief Oau Peeps, Public Relations Officer of ANUNSA in person of Afolabi Lekan, Lukmon Fasasi, UCJ Unilorin President and other student executives from diverse associations from different Universities.

The theme of the event being "NATIONAL DIALOGUE ON THE USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA AS A PANACEA TO CONSTANT UNIVERSITIES AND YOUTH CRISIS IN NIGERIA" was well debated and discussed by the present great minds.

Mr Wole Odewumi lectured the audience present on the steps to note in winning a struggle. He affirmed that the struggle of NASU and SSANU some weeks back which led to the advent of Prof Elujoba as acting VC was successful due to the social media campaign strategy by ACJOAU and all great ife students.

He also cleared the air on the recent crisis at Senate building when the members reportedly clamoured for their unpaid allowances in response to the question directed to him by a student on the reason behind the occurence. He strongly disclosed that the crisis was as a result of an alleged 30million naira paid to Omole for unfinished tenure by the office of the Bursar and the fact that allowances are still being owed even though the University makes approximately N56m every month.
"Do you know that the school realizes roughly 56million naira every month and still deprives us of our allowances?" Comrade Wole Odewumi remarked.

"Your comrades know that we are doing our part in getting the SUG reinstated and i personally give tips to them on how to go about it" Comrade Wole said when asked about the position of NASU on Students' Union reinstatement.

At the end, Comrade Wole promised the students that the current academic calendar will go smoothly and optimistically vowed that no struggle will lead to strike which in turn leads to students going home absurdly.
