MISSING STUDENT FOUND BUT RUNS FROM HOME OVER DISAGREEMENT WITH MUM

Abiri Gbenga (bigie) a part 3 student of psychology (Obafemi Awolowo University) , who was declared missing yesterday, September 1, has been found on campus but has refused to show up at his residence in Ile-Ife.

He was seen around 8:00pm at the Students' Union Building of the university. In a conversation with Mayowa, his friend who met him that evening, he said Gbenga was looking okay but looks like he has something to hide because he didn't disclose his whereabouts even when told that he has been declared missing.

Mr. Abiri Oluwadamilola, his elder brother, when contacted, made it known to our correspondent that he has been found on campus but has refused to come home.

In a bid to question the elder brother further, it was revealed that Gbenga had a disagreement with his mother before he left on Thursday, August 31.

"He had issues with our mummy but he has been forgiven. In fact, he has her mobile phone and sim card with him and she is no longer interested in the money he was sent to withdraw. All we want now is that he should come home or just call us and tell us that he is fine." Oluwadamilola said.

Up till now, Gbenga's phone number has been switched off.
