"POWER SHOULD PROBABLY BE RESTORED THIS EVENING." - OAU POWER HOUSE

    It's over 24 hours since there has been power outage in all halls of residence, academics area and the main campus as a whole. Students have resorted to using power plants to charge their phones and laptops.
    Many of the students blame the Academic Staff Union of University (OAU chapter) for the power outage in tandem with their decision to boycott lectures slated for Monday, 10th and Tuesday, 11th of July, in solidarity for Elujoba's case.
    At about 2:00 pm today, 10th of July, our correspondent visited the power house in quest for the reason for the 'light out' and was attended to by one of the workers of the unit.
    The man made it known in his words that ;
     "The light was abruptly taken off because of a fault on campus, which is being taken care of as I'm speaking with you. Power should be restored probably this evening as soon as they are done with the repairs".
