FASA PRESIDENT TO TENDER APOLOGY AS OAU FACULTY OF ARTS SRC VINDICATES THE ASG AGAINST THE 'SEX SCANDAL' ALLEGATION MADE BY THE PRESIDENT.

Sequel to the 'sex scandal' allegation leveled against Komolafe Tolulope (Toluano), the Assistant General Secretary of the Faculty of Arts students' Association(FASA), Obafemi Awolowo University and one Miss. Aishat, by Adegbite Abimbola(Obims), the president of the association on the 9th of July at the parliamentary session. The disciplinary committee was tasked with the responsibility of carrying out a thorough investigation and to present their results in the next parliamentary sitting, which was held on Friday, 28th of July.
In the sitting which began around 5:00pm, Hon. Akeem, the Chairman of the disciplinary committee gave the report of their findings, which encompassed the statement from both the side of the alleged and the accuser.
In his report, he opined that

"the grounds of the president (Obims) were based on probabilities and assumptions as Tobiano (the witness of the President) could not tell and was not sure of what the alleged and the alleged sexual partner (Miss. Aishat) was doing."

The witness of the President was quoted to have used the word 'May be'. The Chairman then declared the allegation 'baseless' and he vindicated the alleged.
After several submissions from honourables of the house on the punishment that should be mete upon the president for defamation of character and misleading the honourables , a motion was voted in which connotes that

"The president should tender an unreserved apology to the alleged, the Faculty of Arts and the Honourable house, and it should be circulated online and by at least one national dailies newspaper and a copy should be bought and kept for references in the future."- Hon. Petkoff (philosophy department).
