Oau students clamour for fumigation of bedbugs smitten halls



  Sequel to the inability of the school management to fumigate the halls of residence that have been infested with bedbugs, the students have begun to share broadcasts as a clamour for the fumigation that hasn't been done using the social media.
     The school management through the Division of Students' Affairs (DSA) , according to the letter written by the Students' Union executives, gave an excuse to justify the delay of the fumigation, saying " the halls have not been fumigated because of the presence of students writing projects, SWEP students, SIWES students and those undergoing their teaching - practice exercise. We told all the males to move to ETF hall of residence and females to Alumni hall of residence but they didn't respond. "


     In response to the management's excuse, the Students' Union has resolved that all hostels must be fumigated before the resumption of returning students. Also, students have expressed their grievances on social platforms. One of which is the idea of the ashtag "SayNOtoBedbugs" amidst articles, canvassing for the saving act of fumigation .

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
