OAU ATHLETES SUSPEND PROTEST BY GIVING THE MANAGEMENT 48HRS ULTIMATUM TO GRANT THEIR REQUESTS.


   The athletes, who are supposed to meet for a solidarity vigil in the late night of Sunday, 21st of May and commence their protest in the morning of Monday, 22nd of May, have suspended it.
   In a conversation with the SU director of sports, he stated it that the protest has been suspended because of certain questions being posed by students, one of which probes the prior information of the offices copied in their letter of notification.
   He furthered by disclosing to our correspondent that some officers of the university has threatened him with his studentship. However, it was made known that, a 48 hours ultimatum will be given to the management to solve athletes' problems, which include ; hosting of all that represented the school in NUGA, payment of their outstanding allowance and the allocation of bed spaces for them. Then after the expiration of the specified time, the protest would begin.

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
