OAU student group organise end of semester programme.

The federation of Oyo state students, Obafemi Awolowo university branch, celebrated the end of lectures with fellow students from the state last weekend.


The event, graced by different lecturers; prof YK Yusuf of English, Dr bamigbade of linguistic, Dr Gbadamosi of the faculty of technology and many others, had personalities deliver speeches.



The students were encouraged to invite  politicians from their indigenous towns so as to render assistance for the development of their association and also learn from them.

" You need to invite politicians to make the growth of this association faster". one of the lecturers advised.

The President of the association, Abdulrasaq Hammed, said " we promise to give them the best in humanity and make sure that there is a positive change in the development of the association ".

One of the members of the association who was present at the event, Yusuf Qoyum, really appreciated the executives for organizing a deemed event like that and also expect more social activities like that from them.

"The crowd that graced the event has shown that the executives are really committed towards the development of the association. "

"The members of the association really expect more from the executives." He added

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
