   What is Exercise???

  Exercise is any form of physical exercise done for the purpose of fitness and improvement in human's health. It helps us burn oxygen in the body. Exercise can be done in different forms; Swimming, skipping, running, jogging, dancing,engaging in various sport activities, riding a bicycle etc

  Benefits of exercise to man's health

1. Exercise reduces stress: This is of a great mental benefit to man's health. It increases the concentration of nar epinephrine; a chemical which helps to moderate the brain's response to stress

2. Exercise helps prevent heart diseases: When a physical activity is carried out, the heart muscle is strengthened, this activity lowers the blood pressure, increases blood flow and by this, the working capacity of the heart is increased

3. Exercise prevents back pain: Exercise increases the muscle strength which improves flexibility and posture which hence reduces the risk of having back pain

4. Exercise helps to increase one's self esteem: Through fitness, a positive self image improves and this increases self confidence

5. Exercise sharpens the memory: Exercise rough physical fitness, sweat is produced which also increases the number of cells the in the brain and by this, human memory and the ability to learn is boosted

6. Exercise strengthens the bone

7. Exercise helps to keep fit, it helps burn fat and hence makes the overweight to loose weight.

8. Exercise increases the lifespan of an individual

9. Exercise creates a relaxation scene

10. Exercise increases the energy level in human cells

11 Exercise promotes a quality sleep

Note; Physical fitness has to simultaneously be combined with proper nutrition for an effective result.
