EPL: Chelsea Draws Manchester United at Old Trafford






The race for top-four finish in the English Premier League is still very much open following the 1-1 score line recorded in the Super Sunday clash between Manchester United and Chelsea.

David de Gea made another costly goalkeeping error as the Red Devils were held to a 1-1 draw by the Blues.

Juan Mata had given United a deserved first-half lead against his former employers in what had been dubbed a “must-win” match for the hosts.

However, De Gea’s mistake gifted an equaliser to Marcos Alonso as Chelsea boosted their hopes of Champions League qualification.

The result leaves Maurizio Sarri’s side still fourth on the table and two points above fifth-placed Arsenal, whereas United must overhaul a three-point deficit as well as their inferior goal difference during the final two games of the season to snatch a champions league spot.

After Sunday’s difficult test against Chelsea, United have two winnable fixtures to conclude their campaign: against Huddersfield Town (A) and Cardiff City (H).

But having failed to win on Sunday, victory in those last two games might still not be enough for United to make it back for the Champions League.

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
