Breaking: OAU Law Students' President impeached over alleged financial misappropriation

Following a week's suspension, Adedokun Samuel - Sammy G, Law Students' Society OAU Executive President has been impeached over accusations and allegation of "financial discrepancies" and misconduct.
The impeachment was immediately followed by a suspension pronounced on Tuesday, 25th April after a petition filed against the executive termed "extortion, breach of trust, violation of official and constitutional duty and misconduct."
The Law Students' Representative Council [LSRC] plenary session held on Tuesday late evening pronounced the Executive President, Adedokun Samuel impeached with a total number of 10 votes against 3 votes of the Law student parliamentarians.
The students' parliament on Tuesday last week, summoned and wrote to the earlier suspended President to provide the house with his personal statement of account before the next sitting.
After a detected linkage of society's financial transactions involving the impeached President's personal bank account, Adedokun Samuel while being interrogated at the level of the plenary session stated the parliament doesn't have the right to his statement of account as being his personal and private asset.
In the Law Students' parliamentary session witnessed by OAU KILONSHELE correspondent in the late hours of Tuesday, gathered the impeached President admitted to the claim of diverting a whooping sum of N2 Million Law Students Society fund into his personal bank account of which a sum of N1.7 Million is yet to be clearly accounted for.
The Speaker of the Parliament equally summoned for an emergency congress to be held on Wednesday.
