Great Ife Decides: Presidential candidate Olu Peace, steps down for fellow contestant

A Presidential candidate from the Faculty of Law, Peace Oyeniyi - Olu Peace in the forthcoming Great Ife Students' Union election slated for Thursday, June 1 has stepped down for one of the contending candidates who emerged from the Faculty of Agriculture, Ojo Abbas Akinremi - Lordfem.


In a statement signed by the campaign team for Olu Peace, his decision is as a result of the experience, capacity and human management skills possessed by his fellow candidate.


He further attributed the leading candidate and implored his supporters to vote and support him in the race left among 9 other contestants. 


According to the statement, 


"Yesterday, I approached you with my Manifesto on why I am the suitable Candidate for the forthcoming elections. However, governance is not restricted to Intellectualism but experience. 


It is mandatory that a Candidate with wider experience is supported for the Office of the President, Great Ife Students' Union. To this effect, I have considered it fit to step down for the Current President of the Faculty of Agriculture who is popularly and politically known as LORDFEM. 


He has the Astute Experience, Capacity and the human management skills needed to lead Great Ife to the greater heights. 


LORDFEM is capacious and I am sure of his ability to deliver excellently well. I hereby implore everyone to support his candidacy regardless of their political allegiance. Leadership is based on emotional intelligence, ability to develop constructive problem solving approaches and many more.


Kindly vote and Support LORDFEM.

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
