As disclosed in a press briefing on Saturday, the Chairperson of the chambers, Udeh Ifeoma, the invited speakers, who are also politicians, were invited because of their contributions to national development and responses to the invitation.
"We only invited them alongside one aspiring member of Anambra's house of assembly to come and enlighten Youths and not to campaign." She said while responding to the journalists' questions.
She furthered by saying that the Master of Ceremony (MC) for the event has been asked to censor questions that will be asked by the audience.
"We've told the MC not to allow questions on the political aspirations of the speakers."
Miss Ifeoma explained that the aim of the conference tagged 'leadershift' is to encourage youths to participate in governance following the passing of the 'Not-too-young-to-rule' bill few days ago.
OAU KILONSHELE recalls that Fela Durotoye, another Presidential aspirant, visited OAU last two weeks and his conduct in the school witnessed criticisms from students.
According to the planning committee Chairman of the conference, the event has been slated to hold on Tuesday, 12th of June at Oduduwa hall of the university.
