ANUNSA OAU President calls management to hazardous dump site

This is to call the attention of the university management to an illegal dumpsite and broken fence discovered in Adekunle Fajuyi hall during the #OAUCAMPUSCLEANUP event organized by Passion House in partnership with Susty Vibes, CleanupNigeria, CampusCleanup and supported by ECOMSA OAU, ANUNSA OAU and well attended by JCI OAU, MANOWAR OAU, LFCC amidst others.

We are of the opinion that the dumpsite contravenes the WHO recommendation for dumpsites' distance from residential areas. We admonish the university management to see to the immediate evacuation of the dumpsite and quick mending of the broken fence. The dumpsite harbors reptiles and other dangerous creatures. The dumpsite also breeds mosquitos and other disease causing insects. The broken fence allows easy escape of thieves from the hall during hot chases.

We would be grateful if this issue is urgently looked into.

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
