Water Scarcity Ends as Awolowo Hall's Pumping Machine Repaired

In another development, the water crisis that plagued Awolowo Hall at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has been resolved with the successful repair of the damaged pumping machine. Students are now relieved as they can once again access water in their residence.

The Hall Chairman released a statement this afternoon at 4:15 pm, bringing the good news to the residents of Awolowo Hall. The statement reads, "This is to notify everyone that the borehole in block 8 has been repaired with a new pumping machine and now water has been restored."

The swift action taken by the hall executives in repairing the pumping machine shows their commitment to addressing the needs and concerns of the students. 

This was coming after several days of inconvenience for the residents of the hall. The students therefore appreciate the quick response and effective measures taken by the hall executives to ensure the prompt repair of the pumping machine.

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'.
