ASUU's 2019 Scholarship Near Deadline

The 2019 ASUU scholarship that was initiated in the Union's National Executive Council (NEC) meeting that held on the 3rd and 4th of February is nearing deadline.

ASUU, in its 2019 NEC meeting, initiated a scholarship to help the indigent students in Nigerian Universities with Cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 3.0. Deadline for the scholarship has been set at 4:00pm, 30th of September.

Necessary criteria that must be contained in the 2 pages application letter are Name of candidate, course and year of study, state of origin and a functional phone No.

A letter from the applicant's current H.O.D including CGPA of the preceeding academic session. A photocopy of current I.D card. A copy of reg form for the current semester. 2 current passport photographs must be submitted along with the applicat

All applications should be submitted to the Chairman's office, faculty of education room 205.

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
