'FORKS' RESTAURANT TO RESUME BUSINESS ACTIVITIES AT THE MERCIES OF OAU CATREC.
CATREC in the seal off letter gave the operation of a bakery inside the eatery, the using of charcoal to cook in the environment where it is situated and the need for the renovation of the restaurant as the reasons for the one week closure of the famous eatry.
The letter dated of October 25 and was signed by the Chairman of CATREC and the Dean of Students' affairs, demanded that corrections and solutions be proferred to the listed faults before the reopening of the restaurant.
In the excerpt of the letter, it was stated that "cooking should never take place around the Students' Union Building".
Awosika Ibidapo, the Manager envisaged that the resumption of business activities is at the mercy of the Chairman of CATREC
"The woman who came here yesterday to inspect said she's not satisfied with the new look of this place. Hopefully, if we are done with the renovation and she says she is okay, then we'll resume." Ibidapo said.
He furthered by explaining that the bakery and all baking equipments have been moved to New market.
However, as at the time of the compilation of this reports, Forks is being renovated and being given a new face.
