The Great Ife Students' Union Director of Socials, Adeboye Olamilekan famously identified as "Omo Alhaji" has been arrested and detained in the Department of State Services custody as disclosed to OAU KILONSHELE by a confidential source.

The source further revealed he was stated to be a suspected member of a violent group which led to his arrest by the OAU security department and subsequently handed over to the DSS for further probe and investigation.

According to a close associate of the DOS in a telephone conversation with OAU KILONSHELE who confirmed the incident, stated he was invited by the OAU security department on Friday where he was equally handed over to the DSS as they are yet to be formally addressed the reason for his detention.

OAU KILONSHELE's efforts in reaching out to the Students' Union Public Relations Officer, Ogunperi Taofeek to confirm the incident yielded abortive, as he maintained mum desisting from engagement with our correspondent.

Meanwhile, in the last week, the media space was brawled with students' demands of some missing students whereabout which the OAU security department cleared the air with a release stating a violent attack was reported to them in which individuals suspected to be perpetrators have been held in detention for interrogation, imploring the university community to maintain calmness as the detained students provide useful information to the security agents as the DOS arrest is yet to be confirmed in relation to the latter.

Our correspondent efforts in trying to reach and speak with OAU Chief Security Officer as regards the development were futile at the time of filing this report.
