JCI OAU set to organize maiden edition of youth empowerment retreat.

The Junior Chamber International of Obafemi Awolowo University ile ife is set to hold its first ever Training retreat, This newspaper can report.
The training retreat tagged "THE EDGE: Learn and grow rich" is slated to hold for two days, 14th and 15th of December at Ajose lecture theatre.
In statement obtained as duly signed by the chairman of the retreat, Jaycee Fredrick Fadunsi stated that the training retreat is designed to equip the members of the organization more into some areas which can make them and add more expensive values to their life.
He added that the training will give a feasible platform for undergraduates to be skilled with several professional trainings.
"Some of the trainings that will take place include employability training (where participants will be equipped with the right knowledge about CV writing, interview etiquette, good communication skills), a training on emotional intelligence, web hosting, digital marketing, entrepreneurial training.
Furthermore, there will be several vocational trainings such as trainings on mixology, Ankara craft, cake baking, make up, hair styling, etc" the statement reads.
He also added that OAU students the trainers for the event are top-notch individuals who are experts and vast in their field of specialty.
"They include: Gamaliel Tanimola (an accredited management consultant, certified John Maxwell Trainer, International conference speaker), Oladiamonds The Strategist ( a life, mind business coach, certified trainer, human resource solutionist and the founder of The New Breed Network), Joshua Igba (growth management officer from Whogohost, founder of star radio and neonatar) and many others.
He noted that the The event is opened to not only members of the organization but also to non-members which include the OAU community. The delegate fee is N1000.
However, the Chairman of the trainig retreat also noted that the organization will be providing E-certificates for reliability and loss.
