I Faced Many Challenges on My Journey to OAU- Joseph

Salako Joseph, a fresh student at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), shared his experiences leading up to his matriculation. Joseph expressed his happiness about starting this new chapter but revealed that he faced many challenges while waiting for admission. The process was long and difficult, almost causing him to give up.


Joseph chose OAU because he believed it was the right fit for him. He is studying in the Faculty of Law and aims to excel in his studies. While he hopes to graduate with good results, he stated that achieving a perfect score of 5.0 is not his only goal.


Since beginning university, Joseph has made new friends and feels they share a strong bond. He emphasized the importance of selecting the right course, noting that he would not have forfeited his admission if offered courses like English Language or Dramatic Art. However, he would reconsider if placed in a program outside these options.


Looking ahead, Joseph has high hopes for his time at OAU. He wants the university to guide him on the right path and make his experience enjoyable. He advised others to pursue their passions, saying that doing what you love will lead to happiness.

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged.
