OAU DISCLAIMS FALSE REPORTS ON RESUMPTION DATE.

The Division of Student Affairs, Obafemi Awolowo University, on 3rd february,2018, disclaims all conjured rumors that was circulated by SANNI oluwadamilola,as regards the postponement of resumption for 2017/2018 academic session.
SANNI oluwadamilola, who was said to be reporting or campus 9ja news agency, was reported by the DSA as a disband Student of the department of mechanical engineering, OAU, since 2015/2016 Rain semester, due to his academic performance of 0.76 CGPA; who said the postponement of resumption was due to the new accommodation policy; in which DSA, in its release, refute having any conversation with him. " The Dean of student Affairs did not grant any interview with SANNi OLUWADAMILOLA and any other group " DSA stated.
Further more, DSA made it clear that the right to the Academic Calendar rests within the purview of the university Senate, and not from the Dean of Student Affairs. On same note, Students were warned to desist from contorting jargons in the name of the university management, in causing issues on campus, in which, "Students found guilty will not be pardoned. "
Students are enjoined to adhere to their oath of allegiance made to the university Authority and should desist from fabricating lies against any officer of the university" DSA exclaims
On a final note, Students were urged to concentrate on their Examinations, and avoid trivial issues that could cause discrepancies on campus.
