Adekunle Gold - I wasn't booked to perform in OAU

The Ire crooner has come online to clarify why he wasn't seen at Obafemi Awolowo University's Amphitheater on Tuesday despite heavy rumour that he would be performing.

The musician was featured to perform on the second day of the food festival going on in the university, the festival which had featured Saheed Osupa's performance on the first day was expected to provide Adekunle's Gold performance.

Students were already gathered at the Amphitheater waiting for his arrival for more than two hours but didn't get to see him after many pranks by students disguising as Adekunle Gold.

The musician has clarified on his Twitter account that he wasn't booked. "Apparently a show organizer has lied to the OAU students that I was coming to perform yesterday. I have never promised to appear somewhere and not show up. If I don't post about a show, I'm not coming. Thank you," he said.

The food festival is a 5-day program with lot of activities. It has been an enjoyable one so far as it has been graced by dignitaries from around the world.

OAU RELEASES FINAL LIST FOR 2017/2018 ADMISSIONS.

Friday, 12th January, 2018. By Olufemi Alfred .O.     In lieu of a recent publication by OAU KILONSHELE about the release of admissions list despite the strike, it has been gathered that Obafemi Awolowo University has submitted the final lists of admitted candidates to the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) on the 10th of January.     However, JAMB has began the uploading of the names on the Caps  section of the website as about 20 students have been confirmed by OAU KILONSHELE  to have been admitted      All candidates (Direct Entry and JAMB applicants)  , awaiting their names should log on to the JAMB website and check if they have been admitted.

OAU ADMISSIONS MERIT LIST UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

      Few days ago, OAU KILONSHELE posted the release of Obafemi Awolowo University merit list for 2017/2018 admissions, it has been confirmed that some of the aspirants have seen their names on  JAMB's website.       Admission status can be viewed on the CAPS section of the website.           Below are the step by step procedures to access JAMB CAPS 1. Visit jamb.org.ng/efacility  preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile. 2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with. 3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. 4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page. 5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile's browser and change the view of the page to 'desktop view'. This is why it's preferable to use a PC. 6.
